1. Individualized Patient Consultation

We offer free consultations because we believe you have the right to learn everything there is to know about limb lengthening before making a decision and proceeding with it. 

2. Making a Decision and Making a Reservation 

After gathering all the necessary information, you can choose your surgery method, the part of your limb you want to operate on (femur or tibia for legs, forearm/humerus for arms), set a date for your surgery, and decide whether you want to stay in Turkey for the duration of treatment or return home after a brief hospital stay. By correctly completing the form provided by our patient consultant, you will inform us of your decisions and preferences. As a result, we are able to provide you with the highest quality services in the shortest amount of time. If you are having difficulty making a decision, you can always contact your patient consultant for more information and guidance. 

3. Visa Application 

Before traveling to Turkey, patients must apply for a visa/e-visa. Typically, applications are submitted online or through embassies. Some citizens of the country are exempt from visa requirements and can visit the country without a visa. They are allowed to stay for a total of 90 days beginning on the day they arrive. However, visa procedures can be difficult for some people. Furthermore, procedures and paperwork may take time to collect. In this case, the Wannabetaller team can send you a medical invitation letter from here to expedite your visa procedures. We are able to send official invitation letters to foreign patients due to our membership in the Turkish Service Exporters Association. Please contact the patient consultant for more information. 

4. Planning Your Trip to Turkey 

It is critical to learn what type of documentation is required to enter Turkey. We can assist you in obtaining e-visas/regular visas or residence permits if you intend to stay for an extended period of time and your visa does not allow you to do so. It is also recommended that you book your plane ticket well in advance so that you do not miss your surgery date due to tickets being sold out on that date. 

5. Pre-Operative Procedures and Surgery 

Our team will meet you at the airport. When you arrive, you will be taken to Days Hotel by Wyndham Esenyurt for some well-deserved rest. The following day, you will be taken on a guided city tour of our beautiful Istanbul, where you will enjoy local cuisine and see the best sights. The driver will then take you to the hospital for important tests to ensure your eligibility for this surgery. Test results are usually scheduled later that day or the next day. Finally, you will be taken to a doctor's clinic for an in-person consultation.

Tasting delectable Turkish regional dishes, snacks, and desserts.

SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE SURGERY COST 

We provide the following services, which are included in the surgery price, for a thorough, healthy, and smooth limb lengthening experience:

• Before the surgical procedure, all necessary medical examinations are performed (Examination, Consultation,Tests and X-ray) 
• 5 days in the hospital 
• 2 Physiotherapy Appointments 
• Service for Medical Dressing 
• Physiotherapist assistance and all medications are covered while the patient is in the hospital. 
• A walker, crutches, and a wheelchair are all available.

6. The Hospital Procedure 

The quality of your limb lengthening surgery is determined by the hospital where you will have it. That is why we collaborate with one of Turkey's best hospitals on your behalf. 

7. Soon After Surgery 

We will provide you with a walker the next day after surgery to help you take your first steps (the Precice 2.2 method is an exception because you cannot walk for the first 2-2.5 months in this method). You will be given a wheelchair to help you move around). A caregiver will be on hand to assist you with any additional requirements. When you are about to be discharged from the hospital after 4-5 days, your doctor will provide you with instructions on how to make daily lengthening, how to clean pin sites and change bandages, and what to do to improve your walking and reduce pain. We will double-check to ensure that you can complete these tasks on your own. 

Accommodations for the Postoperative Recovery Period 

If you get bored, you can have your tea/coffee in the lobby floor cafeteria or sit in the garden and talk with the other patients who are going through this process. The following services are included in the accommodation package: 

• 3 meals per day (The monthly food and beverage limit is 7000 Turkish Liras.) 
• Infinite Physical Therapy (The number of physical therapy sessions is determined by our physiotherapists based on your physical needs) 
• Medication and pain relievers are required. (*Vitamins are excluded.) 
• X-ray for Medical Dressing Change (1-2) (*Imaging tests such as MRI, Tomography, and Ultrasound are not included in the package. It will be subject to an additional fee.) 
• Service of Psychological Counseling (Twice a month) 
• Services of a Dietitian (Twice a month) 
• Once a week, there is a free laundry service. 
• For those who work remotely, a 24-hour business center is available. 
• Once a month, special tours or activities outside the hotel allow patients to rest, breathe, and increase their motivation. 
• Fitness 
• WI-FI internet access is free. 

8. Service of Psychological Counseling 

It is imperative that patients prepare themselves financially and psychologically before undergoing limb lengthening surgery. While financial issues can be easily resolved, mentally preparing ourselves may be more difficult. Our specialist psychotherapist will provide you with psychological counseling prior to surgery as part of the Wannabetaller Team. The goal is to determine what patients expect after surgery and whether they have realistic expectations. We ensure that it is available both before and after surgery. Patients may experience psychological distress as a result of the major surgery. That is why we provide this service to ensure that the process runs smoothly. 

9. Dietitian Services   

Nutrition is undoubtedly one of the most important factors during the lengthening process. In the process, your psychological state may lead to an unhealthy diet, which may have a negative impact on your health. As a result, as Wanna be taller Team, we provide our dietitian service so that our patients' nutritional routines can be monitored by our dietitian twice a month. 

10. Several Months Following Surgery 

Patients are usually expected to return to their normal lives and be able to walk without assistance within 4/5 months of surgery. 11. Service of Physiotherapy 

Physiotherapy is very important during the lengthening process. For the first two or three months after surgery, at least three physiotherapy sessions should be scheduled per week. The doctor should be consulted to determine how many physio sessions should be scheduled in the coming months. Wannabetaller Team provides this service in the best possible way for our patients. Your recovery will continue during your stay here in Istanbul.
