For his second surgery, our patient came to Istanbul on March 7, 2022. We greeted him at the airport.
These are the images from his second Istanbul tour before his process started.

Health Tourism Guarantee Insurance was very Helpful for our Patient
For his second surgery, our patient wanted to have our Health Tourism Guarantee Insurance. During the first month of his limb lengthening process, our patient had a complication. The proximal locking screw on his left femur couldn't adapt to his leg. While his right leg lengthened for 3 cm, his left leg lengthened for 1.5 cm. For our every patient, we take X-Rays of their legs twice a month so that if there any complications, it can be detected early. This complication of our patient got detected on his 31st day of his lengthening process. Because the screw didn't get attached to the bone properly, the bone didn't lengthen enough. As soon as the doctor realized it, he stepped in. Under general anesthesia, the patient's proximal locking screw and the nail on his left leg got replaced. He stayed at the hospital for one day and then got to the hotel the next day.
For his complication, our patient spent 800 Euros. Thanks to his insurance, all the spendings for his complication got repaid to him by the insurance company. We are the only Turkish limb lengthening company that provides guarantee insurance in case the patients come across with any complications, like this example.
Our patient's goodbye ceremony was both emotional and beautiful, since he spent 6 months in total with us. He got 6.5 cm height increase in total with his second surgery. You can view the chat we had on whatsapp with our patient about the pain he had during both his first and second limb lengthening processes. Our patient's personal opinion was the lengthening process from the femur was more painful than lengthening process from the tibia. You can also read our article about the pain during limb lengthening surgery.
The Final Height of our Japanese Patient
Before our patient came to us for his second limb lengthening surgery his height was 172,3 cm and his post-surgery height has become 178,8 cm. Before and after image of our patient will be uploaded soon.
And these are the last X-Ray images of our patient, taken right before he left.

We wish him a healthy and happy life with his new height.
