General Information
Visitors who need an entry visa must obtain it or schedule an appointment with a Turkish Consular office through the Pre-Application System for Turkish Sticker Visa (www.visa.gov.tr). Applicants who meet the necessary criteria will be directed to the e-Visa system (www.evisa.gov.tr) by the Pre-Application System. In countries where Türkiye does not have a consular office, online scheduling is available for appointments with the nearest accredited Turkish consular office.
Visa Application for Limb-Lengthening Patients
Patients who are not exempt from visa application must apply for a visa/e-visa before having traveled to Turkey. Applications are usually submitted online or through embassies. The citizens of some selected countries are exempt from a visa requirement and can enter the country easily without needing a visa for Turkey (https://www.mfa.gov.tr/visa-information-for-foreigners.en.mfa) They are entitled to a total stay of 90 days from the first day of their arrival with the tourist visa. However, visa procedures can be a bit challenging for some others. In addition to this, procedures and paperwork may take some time to collect. Visa Violation Fee
Many of our limb-lengthening patients choose to extend their stay in Türkiye to continue receiving adequate rehabilitation and build up their strength before returning home. While some patients make sure to leave within the legal timeframe, others may stay longer.
