Planning Your Trip to Turkey
It is critical to learn what type of documentation is required to enter Turkey. We can assist you in obtaining e-visas/regular visas or residence permits if you intend to stay for an extended period and your visa does not allow you to do so. It is also recommended that you book your plane ticket in advance so that you do not miss your surgery date due to the tickets being sold out on that date.
Our team will welcome you at the airport, and a driver from our partner travel agency will take you to your 5-star hotel for some well-deserved rest. The following day, you will visit historical sites in Istanbul accompanied by your companion, enjoy the local cuisine and see the best sights.
Istanbul Excursion
What is a better way to make a journey through history than to visit Turkey? Turkey sits at the crossroads of centuries and civilizations that have shaped both its and the World’s history, from the Hittites to the Ottoman Empire, from the Greeks to the Romans. This country is made up of distinctions and paradoxes that make it distinctive and fascinating. It is located between Europe and Asia, which is the center of both antiquity and modernity, religion, and secularism.
You will be quite fortunate to be receiving treatment in Istanbul! As a gift, we organize a complimentary city excursion for our patients. You will visit historical sites in Istanbul accompanied by a companion from our team who speaks your language.
Activities included in your Istanbul excursion:
- Visiting the Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Galata Tower, and other Istanbul sights.
- Taking a relaxing boat ride on the beautiful Bosphorus.
- Tasting delicious Turkish regional dishes, snacks, and desserts.
Physical Examination, X-ray, Blood Tests, and Hospitalization
First, a driver from our partner travel agency will take you to the hospital for essential tests to confirm your suitability for the surgery. This includes an X-ray and blood tests. Typically, the results are available either later the same day or the next day. Following this, you’ll have an in-person consultation with your doctor. During this meeting, the doctor will explain the surgical process, hospital stay, and the significance of post-operative care, and give an estimated height increase achievable after the surgery, based on your X-ray measurements and physical examination. Once all pre-surgical procedures are complete, you’ll be asked to sign a consent form on the day of the surgery. After giving your consent, you will proceed to the operation. For post-surgery, hospitalization is 5 days, during which you’ll be provided with a caretaker.
