How accurate is this cost calculator?
It uses Wanna Be Taller's current 2026 price list and average clinical timelines (about 1 mm of lengthening per day). It gives a realistic planning estimate; your final written quote is confirmed after a free consultation and doctor evaluation, and there are no hidden fees.
Does the surgery price change based on how many centimeters I want?
No. The base surgical fee (LON $26,400, Fitbone $54,000, Precice 2 $58,000) is fixed whether you aim for 5 cm or the single-segment maximum. Your goal mainly changes how long you stay in Istanbul, which affects accommodation and service costs.
Do the prices cover both legs?
Yes. Each price covers both legs for one segment — both femurs or both tibias — in a single operation.
What is included in the base surgical price?
Pre-operative diagnostics, implants and surgical hardware, all surgeon and anesthesia fees, a 4-day private-room stay at a JCI-accredited hospital, a dedicated caregiver speaking your language, mobility equipment, in-hospital medications, airport welcome and VIP transfers, 2 nights of pre-op hotel and a 6-month complication insurance policy. Long-term accommodation and services after discharge are calculated separately in this tool.
Can I go home early instead of staying for the whole lengthening phase?
Yes, with your doctor's approval. Choose "Early return home": you stay about 10–15 days in Istanbul for surgery and the first recovery days, then continue lengthening at home with our free remote follow-up program — X-ray reviews every 15 days, video physiotherapy guidance, nurse wound checks and a 24/7 WhatsApp line.
What if I want to gain more than 10 cm?
Gains above ~10 cm aren't achieved in a single segment. Femur and tibia are then lengthened in the same session — quadrilateral (four-bone) lengthening — and the calculator switches to the five method combinations automatically. Read more in our quadrilateral surgery guide.
Do I have to book accommodation to receive physiotherapy and medical services?
No. You can arrange your own stay in Istanbul and still book physiotherapy, dressing care, X-ray follow-up and other services individually. Stays of 90 days or more with accommodation and the full service bundle automatically qualify for our published 3-month recovery package pricing ($6,750 apartment / $10,900 hotel).
