Most patients enter with an e-visa; where procedures are harder, we send an official medical invitation letter through our Service Exporters' Association membership to speed things up, and help with residence permits for longer stays.

Our team welcomes you at Istanbul Airport; your driver takes you to your 4-star hotel. After your complimentary city excursion, you complete pre-operative tests at the hospital and meet your surgeon face to face for the final evaluation and consent.

Your operation takes place at the JCI-accredited BHT Clinic Istanbul Tema Hospital, with a 4-day private-room stay. Your caregiver stays at your side; on the day after surgery you take your first steps with a walker (Precice 2 patients use a gifted wheelchair for the first 2–2.5 months). Before discharge, your doctor teaches you daily lengthening, pin-site care and pain management — and we double-check you can do each one confidently.

Lengthening phase

Walking unaided
Most patients return to daily life and walk without support around this point; timing varies with your recovery.
